StarApps Studio Acquistion of AppMaker

FinLead served as the sell-side advisor to AppMaker in its acquisition by StarApps Studio.‍

We're pleased to share that StarApps Studio has acquired AppMaker, a mobile app builder for Shopify brands trusted by names like Levi's and Jockey to power their mobile commerce experiences.

AppMaker began as a college project by co-founders Saleeh K and Anees, built within Kerala's startup ecosystem with early support from Startup Village and Kerala Startup Mission. AppMaker grew over the years, into a platform engineered for the complexity and flexibility that enterprise Shopify brands need.

StarApps Studio has built strong presence and distribution across the Shopify ecosystem. The acquisition gives AppMaker a faster path to a much wider base of merchants globally. AppMaker will continue to operate independently.

FinLead's relationship with AppMaker goes back to its early days, when we advised the founders on capital structuring and their seed fund investment. Being part of the company's journey from those first fundraising conversations to this exit makes this transaction a particularly meaningful one for us.
